MD Cash Back Flow Chart

1. The Marketing Director (MD) orders and is issued $125.00 in Value Certificates. (Inventory)
2. A customer purchases $12.50 in Value Certificate (VC) from their Marketing Director (MD).
3. The Marketing Director issues the customer a $12.50 receipt for the purchased Value Certificates.
4. The customer goes shopping.
5. The customer finds the best deals while shopping and saves money. (Smart Shopping Receipts) 
6. The savings discovered translates to receiving more groceries than the $12.50 VC cost. (Smart Shopping Receipts)
7. The customer receives their groceries. (Including your savings items)
8. The customer redeems the Smart Shopping Receipts with their MD. ( The receipts must show Your Savings)
9. The customer redeems the Value Certificates and receives $12.50.
10. The customer will receive the $2.00 Smart Shopping Receipt bonus. (20% of the RV number)
11. In addition, the customer has saved $12.50 as displayed on the store's receipt. 

Program Notes:

1. The document is an example. The actual VC amount purchased by a customer can and will vary.
2. The Value Certificate Program and the Smart Savings Program are linked and work together.
3. A customer must purchase the Value Certificate from their MD regulated inventory. 
4. A customer can receive grocery receipt credits up to the amount of the Value Certificates purchased.
5. A customer will redeem the Value Certificates and the Smart Shopping Receipts with their Marketing Director.
